Overnite Now as UPS Ground Freight Renews TMS Agreement with Shippers Commonwealth
July 25, 2006 - Richmond VA: Overnite Transportation Company, a client of Shippers Commonwealth ("ShipComm") since January 2003, has renewed its agreement with ShipComm in multi-year extension with options effective as of July 2006. The new agreement is with UPS Ground Freight, also now doing business as UPS Freight, reflecting the acquisition of Overnite by UPS. ShipComm continues to provide hosted ASP subscription programs for this client, with use of ShipComm TMS and Logistics Portal as powering its third party logistics services business unit (OMC Logistics Solutions, now known as UPS Freight - Freight Management Services).
